The garden of your mind. (We are what we think) what we allow to filter through our brain is what we eventually become.
Let’s use our minds in the form of a garden. I need you to close your eyes for a second and visualize your life right now in the form of a garden. Open them. With so many personalities we tend to have different ideas of what our garden should look like. Mine will definitely have plants that don’t need a lot of effort some grass and bits of stones. More like a zen garden.
Some people on the other hand love a colorful garden, where certain plants bloom at certain times of the year. Mine represents a low-key friendship.no drama no effort, I like my life to be simple and less work. Some of you like lots of people, entertaining them, people with different personalities Some of them only come for a season leave and come back again and you have no issue with that.
It is Vitaly important to know what kind of garden you represent .and if you got married to a colorful garden and yet you are a Zen personality. Why not have a Zen section in the middle of all the colors? How many times have we lost friendships, and continue to fight with our spouses instead of allowing space for both? In my next blog we will look at what your garden looks like now and also how to incorporate your garden with the rest of your world
My question to you is what is your garden looking like right now?
What is your mind looking like? For a long time, my garden looked a little like this.
There is a beautiful oak tree in the corner, been overlooked, being misunderstood because the owner didn’t quite know anything about oak trees, she never had a mother to set those skills inside her. The oak tree is my oldest son a beautiful strong boy with so much character, an introvert but not a strong one until I started to clean up around the roots for my oak tree to breathe, cut off a few branches. He is standing as tall as ever! I still make mistakes but as we go along, we have learned enough about how to care for this amazing tree whose roots go deep down.
On the other corner is a beautiful tree bold and colorful and loud and very much catches everyone’s attention. Now, remember I am a Zen person I have an oak tree and a vibrant bold bright tree in my garden that requires different approaches to both and all I wanted to do was Zeeeen!!!
I stood back and looked at this interesting tree that does not even have a season and just blooms and grows in all directions. This tree needed more effort love and care.i t needed some serious tender love and care.
And with both trees and my Zen idea we are busy building a beautiful garden leaving space for my partner who loves grass but that is a story for another day.
